ABOUT
the Artist and Origin of Inspire21cards
Meet Pete Barkelew, founder of Inspire21.com and Artist for all Card Designs

Pete Barkelew, the artist for all card designs both here and as ecards at Inspire21.com, is a graphic designer living in Athens, Georgia... home of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He is the owner of BARK Marketing.

Pete lives with his wife, Cathy, happily married since June, 1972. Together they have three children, Bret, Matt and Emily. To see more about Pete and his family, visit his more popular web site... Inspire21.com - Free Artistic Ecards for the 21st Century - click here.

He has worked in graphic production and print promotions since 1976, first with Promo-Graphics (his first company), then as Barkelew Productions in 1980, and now as BARK Marketing.

Why the name changes? First of all, most people could not pronounce Barkelew, let alone spell it. Secondly, the name works well in "Bulldog Country." And, thirdly, it shouts what the business is all about... helping companies "Bark" the word out about their products and services. One of Pete's best ventures, from a personal standpoint was the development of Inspire21.com... launched April 14, 2001. With virtually 1,000 hand lettered ecards (featuring famous quotations, Bible verses, holiday greeting and special occassions), over 2,000 visitors from all over the world use Inspire21.com. Feedback emails constantly remind Pete how uplifting and inspiring his site is, including the hundreds of inspiring stories available as well. Although the site generates no revenue, it has become a rewarding ministry over the years.

Check out Inspire21's Free Artistic Ecards... all hand lettered. What's really neat is that they open up and display in your recipient's email when opened - none of that 'click a link to fetch your card' stuff.

Another site recently developed, WEBworks21.com, is already paying off, because it offers so much to others in the development of their own web presence.

Of course, this site and the artwork associated will undoubtedly bring Pete the most pleasure, because he enjoys lettering for card designs more than any other work in the world. Hopefully you'll enjoy seeing and using many of these cards yourself soon.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Pete any time... click here for contact info.

Thanks again for your interest, time and consideration.
